Palatine Leisure Centre - Swimming Programme
A varied swimming programme is available at both Palatine Leisure Centre and Moor Park Pool throughout the week.
Sessions within the pool programme include:
Early Morning Fitness Swimming
These sessions are aimed at those wanting to swim between 7am – 9am. There will be some lanes available in the pool for fitness swimming, as well as an area of the pool still available for recreational swimming. Both adults and young people can attend these sessions, however they are aimed at those wanting to enjoy a lane swim.
Family Fun Sessions
These sessions are aimed at families who want to have a fun swim time with floats and other equipment. The Under 8’s policy applies.
Fitness swimming is aimed at individuals wanting to swim in lanes, to improve their health and fitness. Slow, medium and fast lanes will be available. Young people can attend these sessions, if they wish to swim in lanes to improve their fitness.
During Casual swimming times, anybody can access the pool. There will be no lanes available for fitness swimming during these time
Aqua Aerobics Sessions
Our Aqua Aerobics is bigger and better than ever! We offer classes for everyone.
Deep Aqua Jogging - Maximise the benefits of running without the bone and muscle stress. With Aqua Jogging you can really enjoy the gain without the pain. Classes most suitable for those confident in deep water.
